Online clothing store, Bohemic.com, held a small gathering in collaboration with artist, Ana Tzarev's Love & Peace sculpture today. Several of the most popular local style bloggers were able to make it out, receiving some perks from the shop and a fun time taking photos with bubble guns.
The e-shop held a promotional "Flower Week," online, in which they featured floral items such as tees, accessories, and even home decor items. The invited bloggers were asked to come up with outfits inspired by the sculpture and its message of love and peace, of which my personal favorite was a black and blue ensemble by Leona Meliskova.
My role in the event was to educate the ladies and passerby folks about the mobile application, and how to use Instagram or Twitter to stream photos of the exhibition to the official artist website. The flower seems to be a popular attention grabber for tourists and locals who go passing by, and I managed to hand out quite a few flyers!
Bohemic gave flower crowns to the girls and propped them up against the giant red poppy. Each of these aspiring style gurus are now left to share with the world just how Tzarev's giant sculpture inspires them to get dressed up.
So, please share... which elements of this kind of artwork inspire you most? Could it be nature, the vibrant red color, the message of love and peace, or simply the shape of the flower?
I wore a loose beige dress from Bershka, belted with a vintage red floral band, a pair of red & tan pumps, matching nails and lips, and my famous summer hat from Zara... oh, and of course my favorite H&M bleach washed denim vest with a flower patched on.
