Sundays are great days for long walks, big books, and... short shorts?
Yes! It's the last free day before you've got to go back to looking "school/work appropriate." If you're lucky enough to not be living in negative temperatures right now, I dare you to pull out that pair of mom jeans you've been hiding in all winter and chop off those ridiculous long legs!
Some tips for snipping off your jeans are: -Use very sharp scissors or fabric shears if you have them. -Try them on and mark your desire length in the front and back with chalk or a pencil first. -Cut around, not straight through both top and bottom layers, so you can leave the pockets!
Now you're ready to quirk it up! I'm pretty into matching my leathers lately, and that includes my pooch, Rubs. As you can see above (and below), my leather oxfords match my belt, leash, and dog! If you really want to take this to the next level, you can match your nails too!
As for accessories, I went for a more earthy selection than usual. My bracelet and round beaded necklace is from El Salvadorian nuts (I think they're nuts?), and the long necklace with matching earrings is from the fallen woods on the Slovak Tatra Mountains.
Wood, leather, denim, ruffles, and tartan? Quirky! Short shorts, lace stockings, winged eyeliner? Sexy!
