The doodle that started this entire series. See the original Instagram post here.
Textile World Models
Feeling lazy, listening to electronic music, these models seem a bit more conceptual than realistic. Feeling a slightly anime vibe with this sketch.
The T-Mobile Man
An early morning sketch of a man I found in the T-Mobile catalogue.
Pink Hat Blondie
Another girl from the Textile World catalogue. Her mouth got blurred when I forgot to let the ink dry. It's a blurry kind of day anyway, isn't it?
Selfies On Demand / @kuwcoco
After posting my first doodle to a Facebook group for bloggers, Nickki asked me to draw her. She even sent me a special selfie for the occasion.
Little SF Cutie / @riobluebostonterrier
I follow a lot of dogs on Instagram. It was only a matter of time before I decided to draw one. :) Ain't she a cutie?
My Brother's Instagram / @worth.theweight
Misko loves animals. Here's a drawing of his latest rescue! Follow him here.
Her Profile Was Nice / @thewhimsysoul
Instagram is a pretty inspiring place to search for photos to replicate in drawing form.
All About The Lips / @martamademoiselle
When I sent Marta a photo of my sketches of her she was excited to share them with her 11k followers on Instagram. :) Thank you, Marta.
Happy 21st / @martamademoiselle
Marta's happy photo from her 21st birthday was just too cute not to doodle down.
How to Draw / Ink Wash Method
Drawing with pencils is so cliche. Pastels are just too messy. But ink! Ink is so beautifully malleable and permanent... here's a quick blog post about how to do it.
Park Scene in Lower Manhattan
Just a quick doodle of some people enjoying their lunch in the park.
Black and red feet, 2010
As I ravaged through dozens of boxes from my old life, I came across my old sketch book. Here's a quick study of some feet I drew back in 2010.
Boy in Yellow / Midterm Drawing, Watercolor, 2010
For my class final I decided to use a drawing of my classmate. I loved the way his clothes moves on his body, especially because of his skater-hipster style. Here is the final piece.
A Visual Report
An old sketch of a fashion event I attended back in 2010 at Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
Chinese Blossom / Watercolor Portrait, 2010
I found another one of my old drawings from my days at Academy of Art University. This one's a portrait of one of my classmates, done with watercolor. The stickers are from classmates rating my work.
Head In The Clouds / Pastel Drawing, 2010
Here's a drawing of a male model relaxing. I named this one Head In The Clouds because he looked so peaceful, like he was daydreaming.
I made this original drawing in high school. My art teacher, Ms. Johnson bought it from me for $60. <3
"S" - Pen and Ink, 2008
This drawing is another piece from my high school days. We were told to create a drawing around a letter of our choice. Every detail in this drawing holds a significant value to the person I used to be: scissors for my sewing days, cracking towers for my longing to return to Europe, cars and bowling balls for where I lost my childhood, and a ring I knew I'd never see.
@kaity_modern & @harperandharley chillin'
I found these ladies on Instagram while browsing the #style hashtag.
